Eastern Red Cedar Logs
Our mill requires a lot of raw materials, so Grant Cedar Mill is always in need of cedar logs.
If you have cedar logs or standing timber, check out our log pay scale.
We do not cut or haul logs. All purchasing is done at the mill only.

Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Saturday 8am-11pm
LOG LENGTH REQUIREMENTS
NO MORE/NO LESS THAN 4 INCHES OVER
8 FEET (100 INCHES)
16 FEET (200 INCHES)
ANY LOGS SOLD SHORTER OR LONGER
THAN THIS WILL BE DOCKED
PLEASE CHECK YOUR LENGTHS BEFORE BRINGING YOUR LOAD
Requirements and Policies
All logs must be at least 4" on the top end. (4" logs are bought as chipper; 5" and up are saw logs)
Logs containing rot, doughty, or too crooked are considered chipper. (no matter the size)
All limbs must be trimmed clean.
No extremely crooked logs.
No logs logged out of yards or fence rows.
No logs will be bought containing metal.
All children must remain in vehicle.
We will not be responsible for damage to vehicles during loading and unloading.
We buy logs at $100/ton by weight or at $.47/log ft by measure.
Chipper logs are bought at $15/ton by weight or at $.075/log ft by measure.
*All logs less than 5" on the small end are considered chipper ($15/ton or $.075/log ft).
